Gombe State Government said it has started making effort towards the actualization of the state industrial park, by employing the services of consultants for planning the Industrial Park at Dadinkowa, in order to facilitate the coming in of the Federal Government for proper implementation of the park.
The government made this known on Wednesday after the state executive council meeting presided over by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya at the council chamber of the Government House.
In a press Briefing on the outcome of the council meeting, commissioner of commerce and industry Nasiru Muhammad said the state government engaged consultants who will come up with the standard master plan of the park at the cost of N198 million.
The commissioner said the plan is expected to be ready by December, stressing that, the State is ready to welcome investors within and outside the country.
On his part commissioner of education Dr. Habu Ɗahiru said the council equally approved the establishment of 6 special schools in the state to groom students who can compete everywhere across the nation.
Dr Dahiru said the institutions to run the special schooling program include GSS Kaltungo, GSS Dukku, GSS Daɗinkowa, GSSS Gombe and GGSS Doma.
